I'm interested in building an in-dash pc and started researching (that's how I found this site )
I noticed that VIA released the EPIA SP motherboard http://www.viaembedded.com/product/epia_sp_spec.jsp?motherboardId=261 that can take the 1.3 ghz C3 processor and has CN400 chipset rather that CLE266.
What do you guys think?
Also, the case would not have to be modified much since the position of the connectors on the back are close to the EPIA MII

Hmm it looks it cost more than $250. Very expensive I would say.
Right now I'm working on the case which will accept any 17x17 board. As long as I get something real, I will post. |

I don't know in dollars, but I found the Epia SP13000 with 1.3GHz CPU at £160 as opposed to £100 for the Epia M10000 with 1Ghz CPU so it's quite a bit more expensive...
but as long as I'm doing it, I thought I'd better get the best mobo |
