jbors,

I will be receiving a replacement DEH-P680MP head unit this week (my 7600MP preamps are going bad) and have a laptop (d600) which I'd like to try with this interface under WinXP and Linux. Please, let me know about general availability and/or beta testing opportunities.

Thanks,

spearsd

jbors, I would want to beta test, but I don't have a Pioneer head unit yet; I'm planning on getting one soon. Is there any way I can like reserve an adapter so I can be sure to get one as soon as they're finished?

I have a HK Drive & Play for my ipod. Its a Volvo with a Alpinr SC-815 HU. It has the 8 pin Mini DIN plug for the cd changer.

Do you have a device such as your USB controller that I can buy and integrate it with the line out of the HK?

Thanks.

Yes this HU is supported (MBus adapter) but we do not carry appropriate harness for it. So some manual work will be needed.

We can supply standard MBus harness so you will need VOL/ALP cable from PIE to connect to Volvo.

Good deal--I just received the VOL/ALP M-BUS to RCA cable.

I hope its right ; the M-BUS looks like an 8pin DIN. The changer jack on the HU looks like an 8 pin MINI DIN.

How can I get the M-BUS harness?

Thanks.

Usualy steering wheel works through set of resistors.
Right now our board do not have ADC or something built in, so it will be impossible to detect the button press on steering wheel.
