I know that pyMedia doesn't create move files, but I expected to at least be able to play a pyMedia created mpg2 file in quicktime, however QT doesn't seem to like my avi file; erroring about not understanding the file. My avi was created using the pictures to mpg2 tutorial. Has anyone else had success playing a mpg2 video in quicktime?
Thanks,
Nathaniel |

Usually mpeg2 files are bare mpeg files not wrapped into container.
If you mux them into avi they would play if avi muxer works correctly.
In pymedia avi muxer was not tested nor used. Demuxer only |

Thanks for the reply. For the video I wound up falling back on ffmpeg. I just starting getting to the audio stuff, and it looks like pyMedia's going to be great for what I need.
Thanks again,
