I was wondering if there is anything new to report; I believe that the last ETA posting indicated early October. My 2001 Neon R/T and I eagerly await the release of this interface.

Thank you

The PCB is ready, doing final software tweaks. Should be done in 1 week.

I have a 4WD Dodge Dakota SLT model year 2000. If this HU has any potential of working with your unit, let me know. I'm interested in this project.

I was curious...does this work on the HU with the navigation system?

I don't know what the name is, but it is an option on most of the Dodges/Chryslers these days.

It will work. But compatibility ends on year 05.

I installed car2pc in my dodge neon, below are the pics, and a short video. so far, i'm seeing a few problems.

-While on the cd-changer mode (input for car2pc) i cannot view the time by pressing 'clock.' it flashes something, presumably the time, but goes right back to track heading.

-randomly the car2pc interface will reset and the time will go away reading "Track XX -00:00-" at which point i can no longer control the track settings through the stock head unit. Once this happens, after a certain amount of time, (unsure as what time exactly) it will automatically change modes into AM or FM.

in these two pics you can see the seconds lining up (almost) between the head unit and the xenarc screen hooked up to the computer output (mac mini)

this is what the stock head unit shows while on the computer input mode.

the disc number which is the play list number 1-5 (1), then the track number (4Cool, and then time into the track (0:19)

heres a pic of the interior:

overall, this is a great design, and allows me to keep my stock head unit which i am already familiar with, to control a data base of music on the computer + GPS and all the other little goodies. I also retain the AM/FM which i would lose unless i bought a tuner for the computer. it still has some bugs, but may be due to improper use on my behalf, we'll see.

We've made several changes to address the issues you mentioned.
When did you get yours ? And what version the firmware is ?
(In winamp it is shown on a preference page)
