I would like to know if theres any interest from the pymedia users to have a Deabin package available instead of having to install/compile the usual pymedia package.
This would be very good for me at least and im willing to build that package for an easier install.

hey jbors, please reply this with all dependencies of pymedia (libs and all).
It seems there is some interest in that 'deb' package after all |

|
|
| Downloaded the debian .file pointed to on the pymedia website but no sucsess on loading. Most of the problem seems to revolve around faad2 which seems to be required but there seems to be no version available for etch. Is this the case or have I not found the apprpriate repository for this component.? |

| Old post but I'll answer In Debian is better to install from package rather then to build them. |
