I'm read the FAQ:
Quote:
Make sure you name tracks as shown below. Check that you have no gaps in numbering and numbering starts with 1 (not 0!)
You can use formats like: "01." or "01-" or "01 "

Only 2 digit garanted sort order? If more than 2 (for example mask is 001 or 000001) what order is?

In folder 04CD I have the next files:
Code:
048 - 17. 1.mp3
049 - 17. 2.mp3
050 - 17. 3.mp3
051 - 18. 1.mp3
052 - 18. 2.mp3
053 - 18. 3.mp3
054 - 19. 1.mp3
055 - 19. 2.mp3
056 - 20. 1.mp3
057 - 20. 2.mp3
058 - 21. 1.mp3
059 - 21. 2.mp3
060 - 21. 3.mp3
061 - .mp3
040 - 14. 1.mp3
041 - 14. 2.mp3
042 - 14. 3.mp3
043 - 15. 1.mp3
044 - 15. 2.mp3
045 - 16. 1.mp3
046 - 16. 2.mp3

This is physical order, by command dir /B. And GROM playing by this order, not by file name. The first file is 048 - 17. 1.mp3, not 040 - 14. 1.mp3.

Is this correct?

I would suggest organizing into sub folders:

17
1. 1.mp3
2. 2.mp3
3. 3.mp3
18
1. 1.mp3
2. 2.mp3
3. 3.mp3
19
1. 1.mp3
2. 2.mp3

This can be done of course. Smile
But I was more interested in the system limitations. Better restrictions than the unknown. Smile
Correctly named files is easier, than to sort them to subfolders.

Sure.
You still can use 3-4 digits for number. 2 is most common though.
