USB device should go off in 200 seconds after ignition is off.
When did you get USB device ? You may need to flash new loader there.
Our device should not disturb the electronics.
Once in a while we see some issues but they do not appear on other vehicles so we cannot reproduce it.

I made my order on June 20th. So you're saying I have an older unit?

What's the difference between a new loader and updating firmware?

This issue did not appear in the first 2 weeks, after that it did. Very easy to reproduce. I just keep the usb module connected and lock the car (alarm would be set). In less than 6 minutes the alarm goes off by itself. If I disconnect usb module this does not happen.

I mailed the usb module to grom for a RMA. You're saying if they send me a different unit I won't see these issues?

-Update, I called Grom and asked them to send me another unit with latest loader and firmware. They said they'll test my old unit to see if they can reproduce the issue. Hopefully these issues will be worked out.

It is not due to long time. We will change the way AUX-USB works in BMW. The problem is that BMW does not have ACC line. Everything is bus activated... Should be ready next Monday or Tuesday.

Try this firmware.
We removed AUX channel and adjusted turn off procedure so it turns off cleaner.

I have already returned my current defective unit and asked GROM to send me a different one tested.

Can you please assure that the latest loader and firmware are installed on the unit they'll send me back?

If that release does not work for you rollback to the version that does and we will see if any more reports for this testing version.

Did you file support request via web site ?
http://indashpc.org/new/support.html
There will be faster response via email after that.

Have the issue been fixed? I returned the previous adapter and I see that there are few newer firmware updates. I could buy another adapter and give this a second chance.

In my Toyota Prius 2005 too.

Firmware 15.
39 folders - from 01CD to 39CD.
99 files in each folder.
Some files have non Eng name (Russian).

The device is stopped after playback of around 115 files. I can started it only after disconnect/connect again to car.
