Hi there. I'm now a proud owner of an IVA-W502 from Alpine. After a hour of google I have figured out how to feed RGBs signals from the CarPC into its Nav socket (and can share all the links). However the touchscreen has been described NOWHERE, and I have no idea what it is: RS232, PWM, or something proprietary.
Tomorrow I'll have some oscillograms of this output but... before I start inventing the wheel I'd ask first. Maybe somebody knows?..
Thanks! |

Well.
The pin is at +12v and looks pretty much as open collector; having pulled it down to zero via 10k resistor, I see some tens millivolts 3-level signal when touching the panel. That must not be right... looking for a proper condition to test it again. Ideas??? |
