Hi,

I'm using pymedia-1.3.7.3 to play audio files. I am especially interested in being able to query the (temporal) position in the file during playback. When I query the position during playback, in a context like this:

snd1= sound.Output( sampleRate, channels, format )
s= ' '
while len( s ):
s= f.readframes( 100 )
snd1.play( s )
print(snd1.getPosition())

I get float values from snd1.getPosition() that continuously fluctuate close to -.33. Isn't this function supposed to return the position in seconds? Does anybody know what's going on here? Is this known issue?

Thanks for any response!
