hi all hope i can get somewhere with your help

i have a lexus is200SE navigator
cd 13906 (top loader)
ipod touch (latest firmware)

i have some problems with the adaptor which basically render it useless at the mo so hope you can help

right i reveived item fine plugging it all in turned car on switched to external cd mode ipod worked through sterio with hu control (great) ten minutes later it cut off and the adaptor was no longer being recognised so it wouoldnt switch back to external cd source until car was restarted (happens everytime withou fail so not intermittant fault)

second i got into the car on a evening and thought ill hook it up now try again My lights come on automatically when dark turned car on external cd was on but i couldn't control the ipod through the stereo (tried again same result) turned lights off auto and started car ipod worked as it should for initial ten mins until previous prob happened it cutt off

so i hope i havent confused any1 but i have 2 probs but maybe they are both related somehow

i spoke to grom who sent the updated chip out but it hasen't changed a thing it is still exactly as it was before

any help appriciated fellas
