I've just got this adapter and it seems it's not detected by my factory equipment. I have Toyota Harrier 2004 (should be similar to Lexus RX300-330) with JBL sound system, it has built-in 6cd changer (NOT in glove box!), MD player, AM/FM radio.
There are 6 buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 however in CD mode they do not work as disk selection, they are used to set repeat and random playing, 3 and 4 used as next disk and prev disk, same buttons are on steering wheel.
When I plugged in Grom adapter and turned on - I did not get Disk1-Track1 message as it says in the document. CD changer was working as before. Ipod was charging and I saw a message on it something like "connected audio device is not tested with this player" or something like that.
Attached images are album_pic8.jpg - this is how front looks like. IMG_0128s.JPG - back side. 1 - is where I plugged in. Question mark - is some other connector, not sure what is it but it looks similar to the first one, however I did not check for sure.
So what can you advise? Will it work with my system or not?
