|
|
Hello
I mounted carpc in dash but the problem is that I can not use steering wheel any more.
It works nothing but I do not want to remove the controls from my steering wheel.
So I found JoyCon.
But it is old model.
New model is JoyCon EX
What is resistance output? They say it is compatible with resistance output steering wheel remote contol.
Is Ford focus 2006 resistance output or not?
Is there any body who use it?

I asked the joycon developer and he uploaded a diagram.
Written in Russian but it is sure that it is clocksrping and steering wheel control.
Ford Focus is resistive.

| Well this one is the Speed Controller. Not sure how it is related to Steering Wheel. But you're right Ford could be resistive depending on model make and year.

I guess steering wheel control left and right would be similar.
I decided to revive steering wheel control for my carputor.
It is better than the controls not working at all.
In the diagram above, 5 means "clock spring" in the steering wheel, the symbol appears in all other car vender's diagram. So it means that the resistor circuit(6) is on the steering wheel. It can be cruise control or audio control.
And I found a post about Ford Mondeo 2002 in Centrafuse input forum.
/input-devices/902-how-control-centrafuse-your-steering-wheel-controls.html
Ford Mondeo is resistive, it has only resistors on the board.
In that post, he did mess wiring, because joycon was released at 2009.
