So I tried running the tutorial for voice recorder, and I received the following error message,

Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "test.py", line 47, in <module>
    voiceRecorder( int( sys.argv[ 1 ] ), sys.argv[ 2 ]  )
  File "test.py", line 9, in voiceRecorder
    cparams= { 'id': acodec.getCodecId( 'mp3' ),
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'getCodecId'

Could it be an error with my build/install? If it helps, I'm currently running on Ubuntu 9.10 and I performed the following steps to fix a compile error.

Removing the entire part:
Code:
#ifndef HAVE_LRINTF
/* XXX: add ISOC specific test to avoid specific BSD testing. */
/* better than nothing implementation. */
/* btw, rintf() is existing on fbsd too -- alex */
static inline long int lrintf(float x)
{
#ifdef CONFIG_WIN32
    /* XXX: incorrect, but make it compile */
    return (int)(x);
#else
    return (int)(rint(x));
#endif
}
#endif

makes setup finish the job.
What do I risk removing this part?

Thanks in advance.
