Here is the link to a new firmware for Infinity:
http://gromaudio.com/downloads/firmware/gromusb2_nis02_9.hex
The new firmware fixes the following:
Infinity Mx5 improvements
- Text is properly displayed
- Key mapping diagram shown below
Steering wheel controls adjusted
- Press and hold a buton on steering wheel to switch tracks
"c= i" parameter is needed for Infinity to work properly
- Here is the config file tutorial
- if c= i is not found then firmware will operate in Nissan mode and switching folders will be not possible
x= s parameter is needed for G35 to display text properly
- Parameter will adjust firmware to display text shorter since G35 has smaller text display

Hum,
these configs are not described at the Grom-USB-FAQs.

Are there some hidden configs for other cars, e.g. toyota?
You know, my car stereo crashes when switching to show text.
Also with option x=0. Only one time the text was shown correctly.
Why? I don't know.

Yeah, some options are not explained in FAQ. We will be adding there options that already mature.
Nissan firmware changes are pretty recent, so we will wait a little.
As of Toyota, we aware of the issue, it looks like some stereos have this glitch but we cannot get such stereo locally yet.
