Hi guys; Ive installed GROM AUDIO mp3 interface in dash and joined it directly on original radio (BMW Business RDS - Becker BE 3350 radio with casette player). Im satisfied with a sound and operation of it and have only ONE question:

How to prepare a mp3 files on stick (in Winamp) to be able to read titles on radio display? Is it possible that radio display reads elapsed time of song instead of real time (clock) when in cd mode, or is it factory presetted?
Tnx!

Do you have pics of the stereo ?
Usually it should display tags automatically, no special preparations needed

It is the same just like this one on the picture provided in attachment.
1-line display; on the left side there is a message: "CD 1-12", and on the right side there is a clock (time).

I dont understand "next week"! The question is HOW, not IS IT POSSIBLE to see text on dysplay becouse it is claimed in advertisement that text is supported on ALL BMW stereos (read the red letters)!!! I supposed that there were something wrong with my music files, but obviously it is not.

There are always some incompatibilities possible.
Unfortunately the radio you have does not work properly with text yet.

Yeah, I see. So it was very brave to advertise something that works even though it is known that`s NOT true. Somebody said something about money back garantee, but I`ve allready installed it in dash of my car and payed 36 USD for shiping and additionaly 40 USD for Croatian customs and taxes. And, of course, aditionally 140 USD for used business type casette player stereo because my orig was without "MODE" button.Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Imagine what else I could mount in the car for a 340 USD fee.
Anyway, it will be nice if it could be possible to see some improvements from labs of Your`s.

Yes FLAC is not properly working after resuming in the middle of the song.
We work with media processor supplier to fix that. It takes time for them unfortunately Sad

There were no resuming in the middle of the song, it was no possible even to choose directory with flac items. Instead of it, it just turn to a very first dir, the first song.

Well,

It works now. Don't know about FLAC, but the USB portion is now pretty stable.

When will be available a firmware upgrade to enable GROM USB devices to display more than 6 characters of the track information? My car stereo is a BMW Business with cassette and only 6 characters of track information is displayed on the MID.
