I tried to install the car2pc interface but my Pioneer 9800BT won't recognize it as a CD changer. Does the car2pc have to be plugged into the PC USB port for this to work?? or should it recognize the car2pc as a CD changer with out a PC connected??

OK... I got it working... Seems that you do need to have the PC connected for the interface to be recognized by the HU.

Now I have a new problem. The sound is very bad. It almost sounds like the L/R channels are out of phase. I verified that it is the interface box and not the PC by trying my laptop and a portable MP3 player w/ a 3.5mm jack. Has anyone else had this issue?? what's the fix?? There are no "Thick" wires to clip on the wiring harness. They were clipped when I received it.
