I read in a couple of different threads that is sounds like there are different drivers?

When I installed my car2pc adapter I pointed Windows to the VCp folder that came with my adapter and it installed a driver for it. I can use the adapter to control Winamp but if I try to control Roadrunner nothing happens.

So my question is...is the D2xx driver different than what is in the VCP folder that was included with the adapter?

The drivers are different. I think you better use D2xx drivers if you need RR to work with it.
VCP just making it simpler to use since CAR2PC appears as regular serial device.
Here is the page whre you can get D2XX.

Ok I unistalled the drivers and used the ones from your link. Still could not get RR to work with those drivers. Clarkie apparently said that the source had to be recompiled? I guess I will wait for Guino to see if he can get it to work. Otherwise I am done trying to get it to work for now.

I posted the source for the car2pc.exe in the road runner plugin thread if anyone wants t try to recompile it for me.
