GROM-AUX adapter, auxiliary digital interface lets you to add one of your favorite MP3 players or iPod to the existing car entertainment system.
Connected to the CD changer port of your stereo, GROM-AUX Interface will let the music from your portable device to be played through the car stereo speakers.
Direct sound connection will ensure the best sound quality non compromised by FM transmitter or cassette adapter.
Just plug the device into the back of your stereo and connect it to your favorite MP3 player, iPod, Zen or Car PC and hear the CD quality music right away!
Important: Your stereo should be CD changer capable. External factory CD Changer will be disconnected, however in-dash CD changer will continue to operate.
Can be upgraded to iPod/iPhone inetgration with the full control and charging. You will need GROM iPod V2 cable (C-IPD2) for that (*applicable to the interfaces sold on or After April 1st 2010)
GROM-AUX Adapter is available now with 2 cable choices - BMW cable for dashboard mounting and BMW-T cable for trunk mounting.
Depending on where would you like to mount your adapter you can choose between those two choices or we can supply you with both upon request.
